BUFFALO NY (WIVB) – Nardin Academy shows off its Buffalo Bills spirit. The school hosted a Buffalo Bills Day, where students and faculty could wear their Bills gear.
“Kids love to dress up,” said Anna Jone, a teacher at Nardin Academy. “I think they love all the new gear with the hats that say [AFC East ] champions on it and we play the scream song in the morning and we have a lot of fun.
“It brings us all together, especially since we have to be distant during the pandemic but we can all come together and support the bills,” student Ava Malcos said.
Seeing all this excitement is very special for Professor Alex Ladowski, as he was the same age as his son when the Bills reached the Super Bowl.
“When I was a kid I had tasted it so much and it was like chasing it our whole life, you know,” he said. “It was so great to be able to share this with my son and even the students because it’s a great feeling when our city comes together like this.”
