Dr Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh al-Thani, President and Founder of Doha Academy Schools and Al Faleh Educational Holding, visited the three Doha Academy schools to ensure they are ready for 100% return of face-to-face learning on campus.

At Doha Academy Al Waab, Doha Academy Salwa and DIKG (Doha International Kindergarten), Dr Sheikha Aisha attended briefings with staff and teachers on precautionary measures announced by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE).
She concluded the sessions by thanking the senior leaders, teachers and staff who worked tirelessly during the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19) to deliver the program online and were always ready to follow any new guidance from the Ministry of Health. Public Health (MoPH) and MoEHE to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Dr Sheikha Aisha recalled that Doha Academy schools have moved very quickly to digital and virtual learning to overcome the challenges imposed by the pandemic.

“Our teams have proven that they have done a tremendous job of providing the best learning experience for students, whether it is virtually or face to face,” she said. “We are delighted to be able to welcome our students to campus all at once, and will ensure their safety and that of our staff at all times.”
Doha Academy Director Harvey RJ Trump said: “All of our teachers are delighted to finally welcome our learners.”
“Virtual and blended learning has tested our understanding, improved our technological capabilities and changed the way we can educate young people in times of difficulty,” he said. “However, nothing, I believe, is better than a class full of enthusiastic students and a school that is once again vibrant with youthful enthusiasm.”
The Doha Academy schools, which recently celebrated their 20th anniversary, currently have over 2,250 students aged 3 to 18, of over 55 nationalities.
